VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Loudoun Volunteer Fire Rescue Company 13 ImageWe currently have openings for all volunteer positions:

  • Administrative (non-emergency services such as public relations and education, computer support, financial management, vehicle maintenance, instruction, etc.)
  • Fire fighting
  • Emergency medical services

According to a recent survey of Loudoun County volunteers, most had no prior training in Fire or EMS before becoming trained through the Loudoun County program.

The volunteer system is made of people from all walks of life, with varying levels of education (from high school student to Ph.D) and different types of occupations (from school teachers to lawyers, engineers to social workers and many others).
